We are a non denominational christian organization
and a Kona Church of God Hawaii Ministry.
We are located in the city of Chiang Mai,
about 1 hour plane ride north from the main city of Bangkok.
We are currently working with Thai and Karen Hill tribe
people and orphanages located outside the city in the mountains bordering north Thailand. We are currently looking for churches,
private organizations, businesses and individuals to invest and partner with us in mission projects in Thailand. We would
like to see a variety of organizations working together to change and improve the quality of life for the orphaned, and poor
families of Thailand.
The city of Chiang
Mai, is the second largest city in Thailand it
is located about 800 km. North of Bangkok with a growing population of about 1.6 million people.
It is estimated that the
total population of Thailand is about 66 million people. among them 95% are Buddhists, 4% Muslim, 0.5% Christians, 0.1% Hindu and 0.4%% of other religions.
Chiang
Mai's ancient city is about 4 square miles surrounded by a moat and brick walls. There are two main gates to the
ancient city, Chiang Mai gate and Thae Pae gate. There are many buildings, businesses and homes in and around
the ancient city. Traffic is bumper to bumper, motorbikes weave through cars and street vendors sell everything from
clothes, cd's, housewares, exotic fruits, vegetables, and delicious hot and cold thai cuisine including some interesting
insect dishes...
The focus of our organization is to improve the quality of life for the poor people of Thailand through biblical principles.
We don't force our western way of church, we try to embrace the Thai and Hilltribe people and their culture, respect the
things which are important to them and love them as Christ loves the church. Many people received Christ into their hearts
because they were truly loved and saw that people really cared about them.
Thanks
and enjoy our website...
